Siguiendo la línea de
reflexión que se inició desde el 2010 con el seminario sobre la historia de Cali
en el siglo XX, el cual permitió conocer las dinámicas urbanas, políticas y
culturales de la ciudad en la última centuria, se propone para este año, el
ciclo de conferencias Cali, ciudad proyectada. Con este se busca dar cuenta de
una Cali que ha sido documentada a través del lente de la cámara y que en varias
ocasiones ha sido estudiada. No obstante, esta propuesta hace énfasis en el
espacio urbano y la arquitectura que han quedado registrados y proyectados desde
perspectivas personales que con su poética construyen una imagen más cercana de
lo que sabemos de nosotros.
Conferencistas:
Luis Ospina: director,
montajista, guionista y productor de cine colombiano. Dirigió y participó en
todas las películas de El grupo de Cali. Su trabajo ha sido premiado en los
festivales internacionales de Oberhausen, Cádiz, Toulouse, Bilbao, Sitges,
Habana, Biarritz, Lima, Caracas, Bogotá y Cartagena. Actualmente es el Director
Artístico del Festival Internacional de Cine de Cali.
Joaquín Llorca:
músico y arquitecto con especialización en Teoría del Arte y la Arquitectura.
Profesor Universidad ICESI e investigador sobre de la producción cinematográfica
en y sobre Cali. Autor de Sobre la en la Arquitectura (2007), documental Amor de
lejos (2005) y Gracias al diablo tenemos el blues (1998)."

Root. Who makes the laws? Legislators/government. They legislate on a manner that puts their interests before ours. They get PAID - not just for being elected; they are going to make out big time because one of their relatives is going to benefit or they become lobbyists if voted out.
